Checked this place out on a Saturday night with a friend and was surprised I never heard about it before. My friend and I had fun and the music was on point. They played really nice Hip/Hop, Rap, R’n’B, all night and just the top hits that are out today. The atmosphere/ambiance was lively, and the place got pretty crowded later on into the night. It’s a cool bar with good music and many places to sit (if you get there early) with friends to talk and drink the night away. There is also plenty of dancing that goes on, and the crowd gets rowdy. The place attracts a mostly 20 something crowd that is ready to have fun. One thing I liked about this place was that they don’t have a cover charge which is awesome for a place that offers this much entertainment. They even have a fireplace at the front with couches.
Come and see me is social media-friendly with plenty of patrons taking pictures and snaps that I saw that night with the colored/painted walls which gave it a very cool backdrop for an Instagram pic. Additionally, there was a photographer on site. Not to mention, Bottle Drinks are reasonably priced at about $8 each. This place also serves food; although, this having been my first time at the establishment did not get a chance to try it. Will be going back another night to check out/taste the food and have some feedback from that.
One thing to be aware of if you are planning on checking this place out is that the place does get very crowded especially on the weekends, so arriving early would be beneficial. That way you can beat the crowds and get your spot for the night with your group of however many friends. The earlier you are the better the chances you guys can grab a table for your group. On another note, the space between the bar and where you can sit can get pretty narrow and hard to move around once the masses come in so just be aware of this if you are planning on coming a bit later. The washrooms were fairly clean as well (located in the lower level). The staircase leading to the washrooms is really narrow, you have to be cautious as you head down there.
I would say any time after 10:30 PM on Saturday nights would be ideal for checking this place out. The night my friend and I were there the place hit a peak capacity crowd at around 12-12:30 AM with the crowd starting to die down after 2 AM just after the last call. We left between 2:30 AM and 3 AM and there were still a few people left. All in all, a good time and I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a night at a lively bar that plays very nice Hip Hop, R’n’B, and Rap music mostly. You will not leave disappointed barring any unfortunate scenarios/circumstances lol.
